Dr. Jun Sun is a tenured Professor and Associate Head of Department of Medicine, University of Illinois Chicago. Her research interests are host-microbiome interactions in inflammation and cancer. She is internationally known for her pioneer discovery of novel roles of microbiome in human diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and cancer.
