Dr Govind Makharia is a Professor at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He has published 310 articles in indexed journals (h-index of 53), listed amongst top 2% research scientist globally (2021). He is secretary General of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Chair, Clinical Research Committee, World Gastroenterology Organization; Governing Council Member of WGO, and Council Member of APAGE. He is a Co-inventor of a device for fecal incontinence.
