Professor Francis K.L. Chan, SBS, JP, is the Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Choh-Ming Li Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  He serves as a Board Member of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Professor Chan is a world-renowned clinician-scientist in gastrointestinal diseases. His research work has revolutionized clinical management guidelines in the U.S., Europe and the Asia Pacific region.  His contributions and leadership in gastroenterology have been recognized worldwide with numerous honours and awards, including being named the top 0.06% World Expert in Aspirin by ExpertScape in 2019, and Gold Medal in the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2022.
