Evelien Dekker is a gastroenterologist and Professor in GI Oncology at the Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology of the Amsterdam University Medical Centers, at the University of Amsterdam. Besides her clinical work, she leads a research group, is actively involved in the Dutch national screening program for CRC and is currently global chair of the WEO CRC screening committee.
