Prof Ang has clinical interest in  advanced therapeutic endoscopy, in particular therapeutic ERCP,  interventional EUS and endoscopic therapy of early GI neoplasia. His current research interests include gut microbiome, use of IEE and AI in endoscopy, and pancreaticobiliary endoscopy.
