Professor Schreiber is Full Professor of Medicine focussed on internal medicine especially gastroenterology. His research interests include the molecular genetics and pathophysiology of IBD and the clinical development of new therapies for IBD. He is director of the Clinic of Internal Medicine and head of the Institute for Clinical Molecular Biology, both at Kiel University, Germany.
